Carnegie Mellon Tepper School of Business

Defining a visual language for a cutting edge business school.

Objective:

Create a brand expression for the refreshed Tepper School of Business. After receiving funding of $40+ million dollars for a new quad and building for the school, Carnegie Mellon decided that the renovation also permitted a new brand that would solidify Tepper as one of the leading business schools in the country.

My Role:

Senior Designer

With collaboration from an Executive Creative Director, we concepted, rationalized, and designed a new brand and expression for the Tepper Business School that strives to exude confidence, modernity, and edginess. This project taught me the in-depth involvement a design team can have with a brand, the organization, and the people who stand for what the brand believes in—a truly humbling process to the power of design.
